| i am looking a changing my flashers...mine are cracked and i figured at good time to do it...now at the local shop they only have single filament lights...can i use them for the front in california or is that illegal? does anyone have good leads on flashers...thanks. | |

| If you are asking if it would be ok not have the "running light" option working on the front, only the flashing turn signal, my guess would be yes. In my opinion, the manufacture needed to provide for the amber running light as a state safety requirement. I think the flasher unit is pretty universal and most shops, online or local should have what you need. I would take a look at the pin configuration and then go shopping. | Your local place should have what you need to be legal. Ask at the shop or do a oline DMV check of the rules. Jerry lives in your state and knows alot. One thing to remember is Some things are added for your safety. Jim | |
