| Decided to add some grease to the swingarm via the zerks.Used some moly & graphite grease...only received a couple of "pumps'" before the handle stopped moving...wouldn't take anymore I suppose.On my prior bike...xr650l...you knew when to stop adding grease when grease came out the end caps?.I hope you can't overfill these tw swingarms?. | |

| Had my swing arm off this past winter when I was repainting the TW (2005). When I took the swingarm off I noticed how dry it was. When I put it back on, like you, it didn't take too many pumps before I met resistance and didn't want to over-do-it. One thing I did prior to reassembly of the swingarm, I pre-lubed the the swingarm shaft bolt with grease. I used regular grease though, nothing special. | |
