Custom rack and panniers from my garage

Here goes...
Oh yeah...have to take pics of removable crate for back rack (those will come in a few days). Ammo cans are 60mm mortar cans. Ammo cans have u channel welded to them to snug fit on the 1/2 by .065 wall steel tube. Made aluminum hold down hooks that will break away or bend if you happen to hit something with the panniers and so they are easy to remove. Passenger foot pegs and seat remain usable with this setup. Yes that is a factory Yamaha rack I cut the sloped edge off of. More pics of mods to come. Also did the beeper/turn signal mod (works great)

Oh yeah...other great thing about ammo cans is that the top comes off for hauling fishing rods etc.
