Your problem is hard to understand, in part due to your wording. Nothing should be continuously on. When you slide the switch to the left, both front and rear left side turn lights should blink, as well as the amber dash light. Likewise when you slide the switch to the right, only now the right side blinks.

Now, with the turn signal switch in the center position (off) and your key is on like you are getting ready to start your bike, BOTH the front 'signal' lights will be on (different filaments). The constant on of the fronts are your 'running' lights. Hope this helps. You can get additional information from the other forum when it comes back online. Gerry

That is the way the lights are set-up. A few of us put a switch in to turn off the low beam. I do this only on the trails, with the thought that since I am going slow I could use a little more current going to charging the battery. On the street, lights on. I even have a pulsing high beam. Gerry
