| It really is a matter of what you feel the most comfortable with. You will likely need to try a couple of different methods. Since your rig is not a pickup, loading into the bed is not an option (I did not like this process). You can buy a hitch rake that goes into your receiver and allows you to roll your bike up and 'park' it across the back of the Yukon. In my opinion, this method requires a rear suspension that is towards the "heavy duty" which you should have. The suspension on my Ranger was not and this caused my rack/bike to really weigh the back of the truck down (not good). Since my transport vehicle was light duty, I went to the 'next' best option, a small trailer, which has worked out fine for me.. Gerry | |
