Hey everybody new tw owner. got an 87 but having some carb problems...first things first though. before i start messing with the stock mikuni is it possible to just put a TK on? are they plug and play? thanks in advance.

I have not done what you are 'considering'. I am 62 and have wrenched more than 'a bit'. In my opinion, what you ask is likely possible and as well very do-able. "plug-and-play", very unlikely. In my experience, stuff like this takes some (perhaps more than 'some') minor/major tweaking. If you can, try to play or replace with what you currently have. Good luck. Gerry
