Sweet machine!  Like that RED black combination and those vintage style rims.  A fellow I know fixed up a similar Midget.  Ended up putting Nissan engine and transmission and painted it purple.  That car was for his Wife.  His ride was a 61 VW with a 3.0 Mustang V-6.  Think the VW was a much bigger project as he had to construct a tube frame to support the body and accommodate all the running gear.  With a narrowed rear-end the car looked remarkably stock as all the wheels fit nicely under the fenders.  Have to say that Scamp trailer caught my eye as well.  All things considered, approach that Thanksgiving turkey with caution lol! .  Kris, you and the Family have a GREAT holiday!!!   Take care.

You have a great weekend as well. Probably much warmer down yonder.

My dad gave me the midget and we picked it up in September. It's pretty spirited for just having a 4 cylinder engine. Other than being repainted and reupholstered, it's pretty much stock. Fun little car so far.
