| I read somewhere that the new (2001 to present) TW200's put out 240W @ 5000rpms. Can anyone confirm that? I can't find anything on it. The 1988-2000 specs were 180W, which I have a graph for, but I read that new models have a higher output. Thanks in advance. Regards ...Wes | |

| From the Service Manual:
Old rectifier = 8A/120V Old charging system = 12V 0.7A @ 3000rpm 15.5V 2.5A @ 9000rpm
New rectifier = 10A/200V New charging system = specs not listed. :becca:
Along with a lot of little changes in electrical stuff (such as the turn signal relay now transistor type) I would think they would have increased the power a bit. ?!?!? | |
