Starting with a New Hodaka Ace100 in 1968 I now have my 81st Motorcycle. I have owned 3 Hodakas the ACE100 a 71 Super Rat and a 73 Wombat. I almost purchased a 250 Thunderdog in 77 but the dealer had a New left over Hercules W2000 I fell in love with on the showroom floor. My TW reminds me of those early days on my hodakas. Especially the Wombat I rode in High school. The TW is not fast and it does not handle the road or the dirt with finesse, but it does handle them. It will go anywhere anytime and get you home. It also keeps someone of my years safer as you are not likely to do table tops or attach the woops as you would on an all out dirt bike. However it will give you more smiles per gallon than most other on-off road bikes. This bike is just fun to ride and it is different. Right up my alley!
