Rear Disc Conversion

Converted from a drum to a disc using a Yamaha YZF-R6 Rear Wheel!

What do you guys think?

Looks like a mod with lots of promise. How doable do you think it would be with the stock rear wheel? Thanks for the idea. Gerry

Anything is possible!!!

You would have to take the stock wheel apart and customize the hub to take a disc or something like that at least

Japblock.......WOW,I really like that. A dude could make some $$$ if they were to figure out what would be needed to make this into a "kit' conversion thingy!.And also something for the front....this would be for a person who ONLY rode the street.Now, of course,it would be nice for the 50/50 crowd to have so they could switch back and forth for obvious reasons!....GOOD work.

What wheel is that? From a CBR or something? I'd be interested in knowing which wheels could swap out and thereby allow the disc brake as shown. Then with two different disc-brake capable wheels you could swap tires between on and off road by swapping the whole wheel. Much faster and easier than changing tires!
